After your child has completed one year of faith formation in the first grade (or later), he or she is eligible to enter the Sacraments program, and prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation in January and First Communion in May.  All children are required to be baptized before receiving these Sacraments.   

Families (at least one parent/guardian and child) are expected to participate in Families of Faith with a few extra sessions, specific to Reconciliation and Eucharist, to prepare for these special celebrations.  Two mandatory parent workshops for parents of children that are preparing for the Sacraments are held in the Fall and Winter.  An additional calendar for Sacramental Preparation is provided below.

To register your child, download the Families of Faith Registration Form and Release Authorization Form, complete and drop off at the Ministry Center, or Mail to St. Agnes Church (Attn: Faith Formation Office, 3966 Chestnut Avenue Concord, CA 94519).  Registration deadline for Families of Faith is November 1st.  Deadline to register for Sacramental Preparation is October 18th.
