Welcome to Families of Faith!
We believe that parents are the first and best teachers of faith for their children, and that the best gift we can give the children of our parish is an entire family growing in faith together! With that in mind, St. Agnes is happy to announce FAMILIES OF FAITH, our faith formation program for all families with children in grades K-5 (younger and older siblings welcome!). With Families of Faith your whole family comes together twice a month, on Sunday mornings, to learn about God and grow in faith as a family.A detailed calendar is attached with the covered topics for the year. There are two sessions each month. A Parent Session (Topic) is held near the beginning of each month, to help parents deepen their own knowledge of the Catholic faith. Children will start the session together with their parents and then attend their own age appropriate session. Before the next session there are several activities to choose from to do together at home. Then there is a Community Session near the end of the month for the entire family to build community and celebrate Catholic life together through common prayer, social activities, service to others and liturgical celebrationsFirst Community Session: September 18 (Sunday), 9:00am Opening Mass followed by Community Session
Parent Information Meeting: September 13 (Tuesday) 6:00p - 7:00p in Cauchi Hall.
To register your child, download the Registration Form and Release Authorization Form, complete and drop off at the Ministry Center, or Mail to St. Agnes Church (Attn: Faith Formation Office, 3966 Chestnut Avenue Concord, CA 94519) , or place in an envelope, “Attention Faith Formation”, and turn in at the Welcome Table after Mass. Registration opens July 1st.
